The Starquest playground installed at Churchill Park School in 2003 has been a great success with a wide range of students. The big area provides space for large numbers of students to be on the equipment at one time and there are a range of options and activities to choose from. The playground is so popular we have to schedule different classes in the senior area of the school to be using it on different days!

Our school installed a PlatinumPlay playground in 2002 and it has now 8 eight year of constant use. We are next door to the local rugby club, so it gets heaps of use in the weekends as well, and even with all those thousands of feet and hands on it all this time the playground still looks great. All the children still flock to it all the time, and since we put shade sails over it in 2008 it has been even more popular in the summer months. A great product for school use with the challenge needed to even keep the Year 6’s interested right up until they leave the school.

We purchased a StarQuest playground in July 2008 principally to give our Years 7 and 8 boys opportunities to build upper body strength. I am pleased to say the playground appears to have had the desired effect. We now have boys of all ages who want to try the various activities and there isn’t a break in the school day when the StarQuest is not in use. At the end of 2008 we set about finding confidence course equipment for our students to use during their free time and for PE. We wanted something that would really challenge our students and would be a big step up from playground equipment they had used at primary school. After some research we found that Platinum Play's InterChallenge system fit the bill perfectly. With the steel mesh rock wall, the InterChallenge is rock-solid and built to last – and a robust structure was very important for us! PlatinumPlay installed our senior playground in 2007. It is for seniors only (the juniors are allowed on if the seniors are away at camp). When it was first installed all the kids had blisters on their hands from overuse of the equipment. It is a very sturdy well built playground and is an asset to our school. Any items that have needed replacing have been quickly sent to us for our caretaker to install.
